BEAUTY IN THE UNEXPECTED | A Solo Exhibition

August 8 – September 2026 Workhouse Arts Center · Building 5, Front Gallery · Lorton, Virginia

Reception: Saturday, August 8 · 6–9pm · Open to the public

This collection began with a colony of paper wasps sharing my outdoor studio. It grew into something larger — an invitation to look more closely at the creatures we overlook, avoid, or fear. Moths that migrate thousands of miles through the night. The wasp that began to recognize me. The humble snail.

Beauty in the Unexpected is about what we find when we stop turning away.

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”

-T.S. Eliot
